West Dean Gardens...

28 May 2014

On Sunday I spent a lovely day out with my mum at West Dean Gardens. We enjoyed the warm sunshine (where's that gone?!) and leisurely explored all the beautiful surroundings like the Spring garden, the Victorian glasshouses and the walled kitchen garden...  and then finished with yummy cake in the cafe! Such a wonderful place and so close to us - I might have to go back with the kids in the Summer. I bet all the blooms are amazing in another month or so!

Hope your all having a good week! xx

  7. Hey Caroline,
There's something about formal gardens. Very pleasing on the eye. Even though I am rather scruffy - in myself as well as my garden - there's a part of me that yearns for straight lines and symmetry. Wonderful alium shot with the bee too!

  9. Glorious images! How wonderful it all looks, and so very quintessentially English. It's some time since I've been there but its a garden I know and love.
