Vintage finds...

11 Mar 2013

Its been a while since I've done a vintage finds post - mainly because we haven't been going to many car boot sales lately and also after having a big clear out I have been trying not to buy stuff that fills the house up. The kind of stuff I cant resist because its so pretty but I really don't need!

The plate with the clip on petals was a find in Brighton last week from the amazing snoopers paradise - I can always find something in there! I think it might have to go up on the wall with some other plates.

The pyrex was a charity shop find, its one of my favourite designs and I just love the colours and the tureen is definitely one of those don't need purchases but I just loved that pattern and couldn't resist!

  5. I'm not sure if you'll get this twice - my first message seemed to vanish ... anyway ... I was saying how I have one lonely tiny bowl in that same Pyrex design but can never seem to find any more. I think treasures prefer to sneak up on me rather than allow me to hunt them down!!

  13. I love snoopers too! Great finds, I have a sugar shaker the same pattern as your tureen, just sooo 70's! I wonder what the plate petals are for? How about pips and fishbone disposal when you're eating dinner! The pyrex pattern is called Tempo x
