Weekend finds...

20 May 2012

These are some bits I found at a car boot sale this weekend. These ladybird books were a bargain at just 20p each. The stall holder had the most enormous pile of them on the floor - lots of the same titles though!

I have no idea what I will do with the cocktail sticks yet - I just really liked them and didn't want to leave them there. There are so many lovely colours! I love the little arrow ones and the pink bird.

I also found this orange frying pan, a mickey duvet cover and pillow case and this globe for Archie. I have been looking out for one for a while but I liked the size of this little one and it goes nicely in his room. Elizabeth has been trying to find our house and her nursery school on there!

Hope you have a great week. x

  3. Such great finds - I especially love the cocktail sticks. You will have to have a summer cocktail party in the style of 'Mad Men'! Love the Holiday Inn ones, very rat pack!

    1. Thank you Maria, lovely to have you here. Yes the illustrations are just lovely in vintage childrens books. Wish I had a little more time to look through books at car boot sales but don't get long with the with little ones. I was pleased with the little globe and the kids love it too. xx
