Pine cones and rainbows...

26 Sept 2012

A walk through some nearby park gardens after school. We collected cones to make some autumn decorations. There were plenty of puddles for splashing in after all this crazy weather we are having here lately - sunshine one minute, pouring rain the next. At least we get pretty rainbows!

At home...

21 Sept 2012

We have been spending lots of time at home this week, trying to get into a new routine of school. Elizabeth started full days on Wednesday. She's still full of excitement about going in every morning which is lovely and comes home with lots of creations from her day. I feel like I'm constantly clock watching at the moment though so as to not be late!

I have been trying to get some more decorating in the house finished . After trying many tester pots of various colours for the bedroom... I opted for white - with just a little mustard strip. Now I Just need to get some wallpaper up!

♥ Archie boy
♥ Leaves for crafting
♥ Elizabeth's treasure box - a summer project for school
♥ Paints and wallpaper for the bedroom
♥ Webs in the garden
♥ Masterpieces from school
♥ New scrap-booking supplies - badges from here.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. xx

Weekend finds...

16 Sept 2012

Some bits I bought at a car boot sale we went to yesterday, It seems like ages since we have been to one! I loved the colours and the pattern of this vintage puzzle game, luckily it came with the original box and I was able to just copy the picture otherwise I think it would have taken me a while to piece it together.

The mustard light was a find for our bedroom which I am in the middle of decorating and the fabrics from the bed cover and fold out cushion thingy (not sure what they are actually called!) will probably be used to make something else - maybe some cushions! I have no idea what I will do with the paper plates, but I thought they were just to lovely not to buy!

Elizabeth's first day of school. She has been so so excited about today, counting down the sleeps!
She went into her new class with no problems, found her little friends and started playing in the home corner before we had even left. And I just about managed to hold back on the tears until I got home! Yay to half days for now!
